Do you know what plastic molding is?
Plastic molding is the process of making products or blanks of required shapes from plastics of various forms (powder, particle, solution and dispersion). There are more than 30 kinds of molding methods.
The choice of plastic molding mainly depends on the type of plastic (thermoplastic or thermosetting), the initial shape, and the shape and size of the product. The common methods for processing thermoplastics include extrusion, injection molding, calendering, blow molding and thermoforming. Molding, transfer molding and injection molding are generally used for processing thermosetting plastics.
Plastic molding is the process of making products or blanks of required shapes from plastics of various forms (powder, particle, solution and dispersion). There are more than 30 kinds of molding methods. Laminating, molding, and thermoforming enable plastics to be formed on a flat surface. The plastic processing method can be used for rubber processing. In addition, there are casting with liquid monomer or polymer as raw materials. Among these methods, extrusion and injection molding are the most used and the most basic molding methods.
