Failure reason of die casting molding
1. Thermal fatigue cracking damage led to die casting molding failure. During the die casting process, the mold is subjected to repeated cooling and heat shock, resulting in deformation of the molding surface and its interior. The occurrence of microcracks is initiated and continues to expand.
2. Fragmentation failure
Under the influence of the injection force, the mold will crack at the weakest point. When the brittle fracture occurs, the crack will expand rapidly, which will be a dangerous factor for the failure of the die.
3. Dissolution failure
The common die casting alloys include zinc alloy, aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy and copper alloy. When the mold hardness is higher, the corrosion resistance is better, and if the molding surface has soft point, it is unfavorable to corrosion resistance.
